Webmail is an online email application that you can use in a web browser. It lets you check your email from any device with internet access. You can read and compose emails, manage contacts, and do other common email tasks. Unlike webmail, offline email programs like Thunderbird or Outlook usually have more features but need more setup.
You can access your cPanel webmail in three ways: using your server's IP address, your domain name, or through the Email Accounts section in cPanel.
Option 1 – Direct URL
To use webmail in your browser, click one of these links:
https://yourdomain.com:2096 or https://serveripaddress:2096
https://yourdomain.com/webmail
http://webmail.yourdomain.com
Replace yourdomain.com with your domain name. Use your complete email address and password to log in.
Note: Domain-based links might show SSL warnings without a certificate. Use links like https://serverXX.web-hosting.com:2096 if needed.
Option 2- From cPanel
To access your email through cPanel, follow these steps:
Step 1: Log in to your cPanel account.
Step 2: Go to the "Email" section and click on "Email Accounts."
Step 3: Find the email account you wish to access in the list.
Step 4: Locate the desired email account and click on "Check Email."
Step 5: The Webmail interface will appear. Click on the "Open" button.
Note:
Check the option "Open my inbox when I log in" if you prefer to open your inbox immediately after logging in.
Step 6: After clicking "Open," you can view your emails in the inbox.
Conclusion:
In conclusion, accessing webmail through cPanel is straightforward and allows users to manage their email accounts efficiently. By following these simple steps, users can conveniently access and utilize their webmail interface for seamless communication and productivity.
