One of our clients was running SolidCP with MailEnable. Suddenly, he faced an issue with SolidCP as the application pool of solidCP was crashing. As soon as we start the application pool and access the SolidCP, it stops immediately. There was no issue related to RAM for the SolidCP application pool.
To investigate the issue, we checked the Event Logs and found the below log.
Event log:ERROR: Failed to process line 22711, statistics directory path
C:\SolidCP\Server\LogParser\Mail\, statistics file name C:\Program Files (x86)\Mail
Enable\Logging\smtp\SMTP-Debug-201103.log System.IndexOutOfRangeException: Index
was outside the bounds of the array. at SolidCP.Providers.Utils.LogParser.LogParser.ParseLogs[T]()
As per the above log, the issue was with the SMTP logging. We have taken the below steps to disable SMTP logging on MailEnable.
- Log in to the MailEnable email server.
- Expand servers >> localhost >> Service and Connectors >> SMTP.
- Right-click on the SMTP and click on properties.
- Click on the Logging tab and uncheck the Enable Logging check box to disable SMTP logging.
After performing the above steps, we were able to start the application pool, and it was working fine.
