How to disable anonymous ftp in cpnael?

Note : It is not recommended to use anonymous FTP. It allows any person to access FTP without identifying themselves, it is a security risk. 

  1. Log into your cPanel.

  2. Go to the Files section, click to Anonymous FTP icon.

  3. Inside Anonymous FTP Controls, untick both boxes for:

    • Allow anonymous access

    • Allow anonymous uploads

  4. Click the Save Settings button.
