cPanel Email Account Create Error: No specific error was returned with the failed API call Print

Email account creation from cPanel results in the ‘No specific error was returned with the failed API call’ error.

Generally, this error is encountered while the appropriate file structure is not present on the file manager.

How to resolve – No specific error was returned with the failed API call error.

1. Log in to your cPanel account.
   
2. Go to File Manager. 
   Make sure that the following folders are present – 

• public_html
• public_ftp
• mail
• etc

The most probable cause for this error is the absence of the etc folder in the home directory.
