Microsoft FrontPage Users Customers with Microsoft FrontPage extensions installed on their sites should only use FrontPage publishing feature to transfer files. Using regular FTP can corrupt the extension, disabling the functionality of the FrontPage web and requiring that the site be deleted to reinstall the extensions.

FTP is possible using your Microsoft Explorer or Netscape web browser. In the Address field of your browser, type the following command as shown in the image below:

Format:

ftp://userID:password@yourdomainname.com

Example:

ftp://accu:xyz123@media.com

You will need to replace certain information with your specific account information.

Next, click the Enter key on your keyboard. Your browser will open a window that includes all the files in your website. To move files to the server, just drag and drop them into the appropriate directories.
