How to Blacklist a Domain in Plesk?

At some point in managing your email server, you may encounter the need to blacklist a domain in Plesk. Whether it's due to spam, security threats, or other malicious activities, blacklisting a domain is a crucial step in maintaining the integrity and security of your online presence.

Plesk offers a built-in blacklist function to block emails from specific domains or email addresses. Once you add an address to the blacklist, you will no longer receive messages from that email.

Step of Blacklisting a Domain in Plesk.

Step 1: Log in to your Plesk control panel using administrator user.

Step 2: Click on the Tools & Settings in the left-hand sidebar.

Step 3: Search for the Mai section and click on the Mail Server Settings.

Step 4: You'll see a tab labeled Black List in the Mail Server Settings menu. Click on this tab to access the blacklist settings.

Step 5: Click on the Add Domain button.

Step 6: Enter domain names that you are willing to block. Click on the Add one more to add multiple domains to black list.

Step 7: Click on the OK button.

You can check the all blacklisted domains from the Black List tab. You can easily remove entries that no longer need to be removed by selecting them and clicking the Remove button.

If you're receiving spam emails from various domain names and prefer not to block each one individually, you can opt for an anti-spam email protection service for your domain name.

By following these steps, you can effectively blacklist unwanted email domains or addresses in Plesk, keeping your inbox cleaner and reducing the chance of spam infiltrating your system.
