In this article, we will show you how to add password protection to your cPanel directories. Follow the steps below to get started.
Step 1: Log in to your cPanel account.
Step 2: Click on the Directory Privacy icon under the files section.
Step 3: Click on the edit button for the directory you want to protect with a password.
Step 4: Tick on Password protect this directory, and also add the name for that directory, and create a user and a password to access this directory, as shown in the image below.
Step 5: Click on the Save button. Once you have saved the changes, you will get a success message.
