How to set password protection in cPanel directory

In this article, we will show you how to add password protection to your cPanel directories. Follow the below steps to get started.

  1. Login to your cPanel account.

  2. Click on the Directory Privacy icon under the files section.

  3. Select the directory you want to protect with a password.

  4. Tick on Password protect this directory and also add the name for that directory and create user and password to access this directory as shown in the below image.

  5. Click on the Save button.
