How to Increase MySQL Database Upload limit in PhpMyAdmin from cPanel?

In order to increase the database maximum upload size limit in phpMyAdmin, you will need to increase the cPanel PHP max upload size and cPanel PHP max POST size values.

Note: The maximum value that the "upload_max_filesize" and "post_max_size" limits can be increased to is 2047M. This is a limitation imposed by the PHP configuration on the server. If you need to import a file that is larger than 2047M, you will need to use the command line to import the database.

Steps to increase the maximum upload limit in phpMyAdmin:

Step 1. Login to WHM as the root user: To log in to WHM as the root user, open your web browser and enter your server's IP address or hostname followed by:2087 (example: https://your_server_IP:2087), then enter your root login credentials.

Step 2. Once you are logged in to WHM, you will be on the home screen. On the left-hand side menu, navigate to Server Configuration and select Tweak Settings.

Step 3. In the Tweak Settings page, you will see various settings related to your server. Click on the PHP tab.

Step 4. In the same PHP tab, you will see an option called "cPanel PHP max POST size", this option indicates the maximum size of POST data that can be sent to the server. Increase the value to the same or higher value as the upload size. Note that values higher than 2047MB are not permitted.

Step 5. In the PHP tab, you will see an option called "cPanel PHP max upload size", this option indicates the maximum file size that can be uploaded to the server. Increase the value to your desired maximum file size. For example, if you want to increase the maximum file size to 1024MB, you would change the value to 1024 MB. Note that values higher than 2047MB are not permitted.

Step 6. Once you have made the changes, click on the "Save" button to save the changes.

Please note that you may need to restart your web server after making these changes for them to take effect.

Once you have completed the steps to increase the cPanel PHP max upload size and cPanel PHP max POST size values in WHM/cPanel server, you should see the changes reflected in phpMyAdmin.

When you log in to phpMyAdmin, you can navigate to the "Import" tab. On this screen, you will see a "Choose File" button in the "File to import" field. Next to this button, you should see the new maximum upload size that you have set. This indicates that the changes have been successful, and phpMyAdmin is now able to accept file uploads of the new maximum size.
