How to add CNAME record in the Enom?

A CNAME record is like a signpost that tells your domain's subdomains to go to other domains or subdomains. Make sure to give it a proper domain or host name as the destination because it doesn't work with IP addresses.

Following are the steps to add the CNAME record in Enom Panel.

Step 1: Log in to your Enom account.

Step 2: Choose "My Domains" from the dropdown menu. Select the domain you want to work on if you have more than one.

Step 3: Go to "Host Records" in the Manage Domains dropdown.

Step 4: Enter the domain name or a name in the Hostname field. For instance, we used demovpstest.com as an example.

Step 5: Select "CNAME (Alias)" as the Record Type.

Step 6: Enter the domain name or hostname in the Address field and save.

These steps help you set up CNAME records for your domain, allowing you to link a specific domain or subdomain to another location on the internet.

Note: DNS Changes may take 12-24 hours in Global Propagation. Click here to check the status of your CNAME records here.
