While trying to send the .eml file in emails, if you face an error that says – ‘Not allowed extension file,’ you first need to allow the .eml file extensions.
You can follow the steps listed below to resolve this error –
- Log in to the cPanel server through SSH.
- Copy the /etc/cpanel_exim_system_filter file to /etc/cpanel_exim_system_filter_emlallowd.
- Now, log in to WHM and navigate to the exim configuration.
Set default exim filter file as /etc/cpanel_exim_system_filter_emlallowd. - Remove the eml extension from the cpanel_exim_system_filter_emlallowd file and Save it.
