Mailbox users may sometimes forget their email account password or request a password change for security reasons. As an administrator, you can easily reset or change a mailbox password directly from the MailEnable Management Console (MMC).
This article explains the step-by-step process to change a MailEnable mailbox password using the MMC.

Steps to Change a Mailbox Password in MailEnable
1: Log in to the MailEnable Server
Sign in to the Windows server where MailEnable is installed.
2: Open MailEnable MMC
Launch the MailEnable Administration Console from the Start Menu.

3. Navigate to Post Offices.
In the left-hand pane, expand the following path: MailEnable Management → Messaging Manager → Post Offices

4. Open Mailboxes
Click on Mailboxes to display all email accounts created under the selected domain.

5. Open Mailbox Properties
Right-click on the email account for which you want to change the password and select Properties.

6. Change the Password
In the General tab, enter the new password in the Password field. Click Apply and then OK.

You can verify the updated password by logging in to the same mailbox or email client, such as Outlook or Thunderbird
