Telnet Client allows you to connect to remote and local computers via Telnet protocol. Telnet Client is not installed by default on Windows Operating systems. Install Telnet Client on Windows Vista, Windows 7, and Windows 8
- Click Start and click on Control Panel.
- On the Control Panel Home page, click on Programs.
- Under the Programs and Features section, click on Turn Windows features on or off.
- In the Windows Features list, select Telnet Client and click OK.
