How to export/import SSL certificate? Print

When you have more than one server, and you want to use the same SSL certificate in each of those servers, or you want to move from one Hosting Provider to another Hosting Provider, you need to export your SSL Certificate from the source server to the destination server.

Note: When you want to use the same SSL certificate on multiple servers, you must have a wildcard certificate.

Following are the cases that you can refer to:
 There is a possibility that you installed SSL in a Windows environment, but after some time you are moving from Windows Hosting to Linux Hosting, or visa-versa; in this situation, you need to export SSL from one server and import it to another server.
