Cloudflare provides additional protection called "I m under attack" for a website which is under attack and requires DDOS Protection and mitigation. If you enable this feature while the website is under attack, A user will receive a redirection page for 5 seconds on your website meantime Cloudflare will inspect the web-traffic on your website and ensure for the legitimate visitors.
Website Visitors must have JavaScript and Cookies enabled to pass the redirection page which to ensure it is not a botnet part.
Following are the steps to enable Cloudflare under attack.
- Log into your Cloudflare account.
- Select the website on which you want to set the under attack protection.
- Click on the Firewall Icon on the top menu and click on Settings.
- You will see a box named security level. From the Drop-Down menu select, I'm Under Attack!
