Yes, you can upgrade to a higher VPS plan at any time without the risk of losing any data. While your data will remain safe and intact during the upgrade, we highly recommend that our customers maintain a full backup of their important content on their local systems. During the upgrade or migration process, a few reboots may be necessary. You can expect approximately 10 to 20 minutes of downtime during this upgrade process.
