How to view hidden files in cPanel?

In cPanel files starting with a dot such as .htaccess files are hidden by default.  In this tutorial, we will show you how to view the hidden file in the cPanel file manager. Please refer to the below steps for it.

  1. Login to your cPanel account.

  2. Open the File manager.

  3. Click on the Settings on the upper right corner.

  4. Select a home directory and check the box for Show hidden files and click Save

       That’s it now all the hidden(dotfiles) will be visible in cPanel file manager.
