How To Change Your WordPress URL from phpMyAdmin?

This article will describe how to change the WordPress website URL from phpMyAdmin. You might have to do this in case you want to migrate your website to a different domain or you just want to add a temporary URL to test your website.

 Follow the below steps to get started.

  1. Login to your cPanel account.

  2. Click on the phpMyAdmin under the Databases section.

  3. on the left side pane of phpMyAdmin click on the WordPress database.

  4. now click on the wp_options table.

  5. Under the option_name find the site URL and click on the edit button. In the option_value box replace the URL with the new URL and click on the go.

  6. Under the option_name find the home and click on the edit button. In the option_value box replace the URL with the new URL and click on the go.
