How to setup Database Map tool from WHM Panel?

cPanel provide a feature called Database Map tool. You can provide ownership of databases and database users to specific cPanel accounts with Database Map tool. This ownership is retained in the internal mapping of databases to users and will allow management of the databases from within the owner’s cPanel interface. Internal Mapping Database will maintain the ownership of cPanel user with that database with from cPanel interface.

Following are the steps to set up Database Map tool.

  1. Login to WHM Panel.

  2. Selcet SQL Services >>> Database Map tool



  3. Select Username or Domainname of cPanel user. Hit the select Button.



  4. At Next step, enter database users. You can enter multiple DB Users by separating each other with a coma.





  5. Click on Submit Button to apply all the changes.
