How To install Nginx on CentOS 7?

Nginx is a Web server that can be installed on Linux Server. You may have heard about Apache Web Server. Nginx is just like Apache Web server but it can also be used as a reverse proxy and HTTP cache.

Following are the steps to install Nginx on Centos 7.

  1. First of all, Run the below command to install Nginx Repository.

    # sudo yum install epel-release
  2. Second step is to install Nginx.

    # sudo yum install nginx

 

  1. We will enable and start Nginx service using the below command.

    # sudo systemctl enable nginx
    # sudo systemctl start nginx

          Now, you can access your server IP Address in the local browser and it will give the below result.
