How To Install EPEL Repo on CentOS and RHEL 7?

EPEL stands for Extra Packages for Enterprise Linux. It is very easy to install additional packages on Linux Distribution. However, these packages don't support by RedHat or Centos.

Following are the steps to install EPEL repo on CentOS and RHEL 7.

  1. Login to the server using ssh. We believe you are logged in as a root or sudo user.

  2. Run Below Command.

    # sudo yum install epel-release
  3. Here, epel version 11 will be installed. Press y Button to complete the installation.



  4. You will see the below screen once the installation is completed.
