How to rename MySQL Database table from phpMyAdmin?

It’s very easy to rename a table in phpMyAdmin. To do so, simply follow these steps:

MySQL Database Table can be rename from phpMyAdmin. Please refer to the following steps for this.

  1. Log in to cPanel.

  2. Inside Database >>> Click on phpMyAdmin.



  3. Select the required Database which table needs to be renamed. It will load all the tables of that Database.



  4. Click on table need to be renamed. It will load table details.

  5. Hit Operations Button.

  6. Inside Table Operation, Enter the new table name and click on Go Button.



Once you change the table name, it will prompt that the Table has been renamed to new table name.
