How to uninstall WordPress completely from cPanel?

You may require to remove Wordpress installation if you have installed it on an incorrect Path or due to any issue in cPanel. If you have installed Wordpress using Softaculous, removing files/folders from that path will not work and you may face error while installing Wordpress again. Please refer to the following steps to remove the Wordpress completely in cPanel.

  1. Login to the cPanel.

  2. Go to Softacolous Apps Installer and select Wordpress.



  3. It will show the installation page. At below it will show all current Installation.

  4. Tick the Website which Wordpress you want to remove and select the Remove Completely from Drop-Down and Hit Go Button. It will remove the Wordpress completely. Make sure you don't remove other Wordpress installation.



  5. Go to the same path in cPanel and check there is no Wordpress file is Present.

          You can now install a fresh Wordpress installation again.
