How to Transfer and Restore Files From Local Computer to Windows VPS?

This article will assist you to transfer and restore your websites, MS SQL, MySQL databases from local computer to Windows VPS. We believe that you have taken a complete backup of all your websites and databases from the previous host. Now, we will need to transfer these files to Windows VPS.

Transfer Using Remote Desktop Connection

 

This is probably the best method to transfer files between local computer to Windows VPS when you don’t have initial setup. The key benefit is, you do not have to configure FTP server or create FTP account and you can copy the files from local drives to your VPS.

You just need to connect to your Windows VPS through Remote Desktop and transfer web content archives, MS SQL and MySQL database backups files by referring to the following tutorial.
